I have celiac disease. It took about 5 years to diagnose. I still suffer pain from cross contamination or ignorant relatives. I’ve had multiple people tell me “it’s impossible to be allergic to wheat.” Yeah guys, tell that to my permanently damaged intestinal lining.
I’ve had similar issues my whole life. Turns out I have a gluten intolerance, helicobacter Pylori (H.Pylori), and ‘GERD’. Shitting out blood or vomiting blood is fairly normal to me at this point. I had been going to doctors for YEARS and they just kept saying “take TUMS” “don’t drink orange juice” “You have acid reflux” and for years I never got any answers other than that. I was constantly in pain and now have an ulcer and fucked up intestinal tract from of all the damage.
